Premier Catering was established in March of 2019, but cooking has been near and dear to our hearts since the early 2000’s! We love a great tasting plate of food and it is that same love that is incorporated into every dish we create.

Meet the Chef
Greetings!
My name is Chimere Allen and I am the Executive Chef/Owner of Premier Catering. I was born and raised on in isle in America’s Paradise, St. Thomas, USVI.
My love of food started in my grandmother’s kitchen and led me to enroll at Johnson & Wales University to pursue an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts as well as, a Bachelors Degree in Culinary Nutrition. There I learned a great deal about various flavor profiles, cooking techniques and dietary restrictions that transformed me into the confident chef I am today!
I thoroughly enjoy creating dishes that appeal to people from various ethnic backgrounds because I believe good food speaks to us all universally!

I reached out to Chimere to cater a private dinner for my sister's bachelorette getaway weekend. First, it was out of town. Second, I was asking on a whim. Thirdly, it was a perfect touch to our weekend. She was completely open to it and I immediately got excited because I knew her food was delicious.
She asked important questions regarding allergies, likes, dislikes and what I wanted. I was completely open to food choices, so she gave me quiet a few options to choose from that would all be within the amount of money I wanted to spend.
Chimere did a great job with cooking, setting our table, serving and cleaning up. She even cooked our shrimp as we ordered it and everything tasted delicious. She was professional, courteous, friendly, stayed within my budget, and her cooking was perfect. She even packed the leftovers for us to take home!
I would use her and recommend her and Premier Catering many times over for any individual or group catering needs that I may have. It was definitely worth every penny from the initial phone call down to the last dish being washed.
