You are in for a TREAT!

This is one of my secret weapons......  The simple infusion of sugar, mixed berries, and balsamic vinegar has been my "WOW Factor" when it comes to desserts.  I love this combo because it is quick, easy, and Delicious!  There are no limits to how this topping can be used; put it on waffles, ice cream, tossed salad, pound cake, oatmeal and my personal favorite cheesecake!

Balsamic Berry Bomb

6oz   Blueberries

6oz   Raspberries

8oz   Strawberries

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

Wash all berries with cold water and dry off the excess water with a paper towel.  Take the strawberries and remove the stems by cutting them off with a knife. Cut the strawberries in fourths by cutting in half vertically and horizontally.  Combine all the berries in a bowl and add the sugar. Mix until well coated then add the vinegar; toss lightly and cover the bowl with a lid or saran wrap.  Allow this mixture to sit for 30 minutes or more refrigerated.  Served as desired.
